Description
The DACBerry PRO is a High-End Professional Audio Soundcard. It’s plugs directly on the Raspberry Pi A+/B+/2/3/3B+/4B. Compatible with Asus Tinker board and other ones using the same GPIO.
Uses the Texas Instruments PCM5242 as main DAC, featuring balanced output, better Signal to Noise Ratio and THD. With the Linux drivers built in to Raspbian no kernel recompilation is needed, it’s supported by all the most used audio software.
DACBerry PRO also includes a 3W Hi-Fi Headphone Amplifier delivering an amazing audio experience for those who listen through headphones. It’s compatible from 4 to 600 Ohm Studio Headphones.
With Differential / Balanced output it allows connection to studio equipment or powered speakers over long cable runs.
You can also add the XLR Extension Board to this to get the Balanced Output connectors and/or MIDI Extension Board to get MIDI Input/Output.
There are several acrylic cases available for DACBerry PRO: the standard one for Raspberry Pi, the PRO exclusive one and the XLR or MIDI case.

Merci

Very impressed with my DACberry PRO. All it needs is a fresh install of whatever you choice of software and it was running with no issue. As close to ‘plug & play’ as you can get with RPi. All my questions were answered by the guide in the blog section of the website. The sound is very nice and balanced and performs well at loud volumes too 🙂 am so happy I am going to give the AMP HAT a go for a smaller system. Oriol has been very helpful on all of my questions too! Thanks…would recommend to anyone looking for a DAC upgrade for their Pi!

It’s a really good board. I bought a rpi3 sized one, but I used with my rpi zero. It works perfectly! The sound is amazing and volumio support is official. No hack or script needed. Thank you Oriol!
