The DACBerry ONE+ is an improved version of the DACBerry ONE Professional Audio Soundcard with a beautiful gold plated and matte black finish. It’s plugs directly on the Raspberry Pi A+/B+/2/3/3B+/4B. Compatible with Asus Tinker board and other ones using the same GPIO.
This is high resolution soundcard for the Raspberry Pi, with analog output and digital I/O. Simply stack the plug-and-play add on board (HAT) onto your Raspberry Pi or other compatible board and it will be ready to use immediately!
No soldering is required, it’s simple to install and use. All the mounting hardware already provided this product, suitable from beginners to professionals. Just connect your DACBerry ONE+ to your desired powered speakers or to an audio amplifier and you can be up and running quickly, enjoying flawless high quality audio playback within minutes of unboxing this soundcard. You can also add an optional IR receiver to allow remote control operation of your Raspberry Pi DAC.
Integrates a 384kHz/32 bit DAC chip with hardware volume mixing and an S/PDIF Transceiver to play/record your files digitally. Outputs are line level over RCA and headphone over 3.5mm jack cable. The DACBerry ONE+ uses the I2S interface for its audio input which reduces CPU load on the Raspberry Pi compared to USB solutions. It is also powered directly from the GPIO header so no extra cables or power supplies are needed.
With Digital Audio Recording capability, it brings you a new world of possibilities. Play or copy your CDs in the most accurate way, convert digital signal to analog or switch between two different audio sources.
There are a number of exciting projects and applications where the standard on-board audio on the Raspberry Pi simply won’t make it. Use it for streaming your favorite songs from your phone, create a multi-room audo player or media center, play your desired spotify playlist or enjoy watching youtube videos with a high definition audio, and many many more.

This is a wonderful DAC. I have several high end dacs, and this one definitely is up there in sound quality.

The detail and clarity I am hearing is like night and day to what I had grown used to. I hear more depth in the sound field now, the bass notes sound more true and alive!

Talk about value for money! This little board provides unbelievable sound. It’s smooth and extremely detailed. Amazing sound stage. More or less perfect.

Estoy realmente impresionado con esta placa, la calidad de audio que da es increíble. Me compré hace tiempo un Boss y ni punto de comparación vamos!! Pongo cinco estrellas porque no puedo daros más, muy buen trabajo chicos!!

I am really impressed with the sound quality of the DACBerry ONE+. It is terrific with so-called shoegaze and indie and makes female vocals shine, smoothing out the slight harshness that my other 2 DACs exhibit. Even the ‘shoutiness’ of some PJ Harvey and Bjork is easier on my ears:) I’ll buy another when I have the cash:)

This is really good with jazz and R&B, I’m amazed how I can cleary hear details weren’t there before. Its very well made and wasn’t too much trouble to assemble. Simply brilliant.

I tested with Raspberry Pi3 B+ and Moode software and it works great, really great. My speakers do sound amazing! They have great detail and music playback especially with vocals jazz and then he subtleties and recordings. For example the intricacies of piano music and when the recording is really good especially good all the thing you can not hear when you’re in a normal set up with conventional DAC. It is pretty much great for any genre. I primarily use it for jazz, rock, soft rock, movies, etc. I can not be happier with my purchase.

I decided to give a try to this board after reading some reviews and good feedback of it. It’s subliminal! This is the best definition I can find for this board, at that price its quality is just superb. Have not tested yet the digital side, but for the analog part, it’s worth every cent. I also have a Katana that costs 300 Euros and I’m not able to say which one I prefer!!! Excellent work here guys!

I have seen a review of this board on the Volumio forums and I wanted to try out, just one word: WOW! It offers a rich and refined sound. I think it has no rival at this price, it’s just great for the money!

I have previously purchased the DACBerry ONE model and I also own an Allo BOSS card. I was not expecting so much difference, but wow! This one definitely beats the others with better sound details and clear bass. This is a really nice upgrade that I totally recommend!

Can’t wait to try it out!
